Donald has worked with the same crew for 10 years. I've come to realize that that is unique in the roofing industry (well, any industry nowadays), and I think that adds to their efficiency. It also says a lot about how he runs his company and treats his employees. I've already recommended Swink Roofing to a neighbor and won't hesitate to do so again.
Donald Swink came recommended by someone who had used his services as part of her job in the rental property business. Donald was the only roofer (out of 3) who returned my calls. He was very professional, timely and easy to get in touch with. He answered his phone 9 out of 10 times, and when he didn't, he responded with a call back or a text within the hour. He did everything in the time frame he said he would- from getting me a quote (via phone and email), to delivering the tiles, to starting the work. The rain delayed him a few days, but he stayed in touch and kept open communication with me. His crew were respectful of our home and lawn/landscaping. The whole process took two days (our home is two-story, about 1900 square feet), and his crew arrived promptly at 7am, took only one break around noon, then worked until almost 7:30pm both days. When they cleaned up, they left the area nicer than when they arrived.
I would highly recommend Swink Roofing to anyone looking for repair work. They recently replaced our roof and did a thorough job, all the way to replacing several sections of water-damaged wood. The pricing was very competitive, the scheduling was flexible, and the work was completed (including cleaning up the site) in less than 24 hours. A great experience all the way around.
