Selection is pretty good for a small town. Only place in town to get fresh almond butter - grind yourself! I would rate them higher but the employees/management aren't that friendly. Great place other than that.
Service is not what I would call outstanding but I've never been treated rudely. On days when I am not sure what I am going to fix I always walk around and see what the markdown items are and can whip up a really cheap meal. They offer fresh made almond and peanut butters which is a real plus for those who don't want to ingest all those chemicals. Fruits and veggies are usually very fresh and they have a wide assortment of fresh herbs. Good assortment of vegetarian friendly foods. Laura Lynn brands are good and always pretty cheap. One of the few places in town I can get sugar free cake mixes and icings for my diabetic dad. I visit at least once per week and am always happy with the short lines and availability of registers.
Always get good sale prices. Friendliest staff. Never crowded.
They are a little higher in prices than say, Foodlion or Walmart, but you will have a pleasant shopping experience.
There are usually only 2 registers open at a time unless it is extremely busy, then they open another one to speed the process up but most of the time it's a very quiet and pleasant place to shop. The prices are higher than Wal-Mart and Lidl and other groceries stores produce wise but they have really great deals that change every Wednesday.
